Miles Franklin Out of School Hours Care is provided by YWCA and aims to provide high quality and affordable education and care for primary school age children (K – Year 6) attending Miles Franklin. YWCA offers a welcoming, safe, caring and happy environment where each child can find a balance between, relaxation and a stimulating environment in our well planned and spontaneous activities. Our Before and After School Care service offers care for children who attend Miles Franklin Primary School. The School Holiday Program is offered to all school age children (K to Yr 6) during ACT Government school holiday periods.
Hours of Operation
YWCA operates during ACT Government school terms Monday to Friday, between the hours:
- Before School Care: 7.30am – 9.00am
- After School Care: 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
YWCA operates during ACT Government school holidays Monday to Friday, between the hours of:
- School Holiday Program: 8:00am – 6:00pm.
YWCA will be closed on designated ACT public holidays and for a shutdown period over Christmas and the New Year. It is also closed on the first Monday of Term One when only Kindergarten and Preschool children are in the school.
